Columbus police are looking for two men who are accused of robbing a CVS Pharmacy on National Road.

Detectives were sent to the pharmacy at 2423 N. National Road at about 3:40 a.m. Thursday after an employee reported being robbed.

Two men entered the store and passed a note to an employee with their demands, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

The men left the store, which is open 24 hours, with an undisclosed amount of medication, Harris said.

Police declined to say how many employees were in the store at the time and what type of medication was taken.

The employees were not injured, Harris said.

The first suspect was described as a black male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, Harris said.

The second suspect was described as a black male wearing blue jean shorts, a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “DIEM” written on the front, and sunglasses, he said.

The two men were last seen fleeing on foot running east from the store, Harris said.
