North wins invitational
SHELBYVILLE — Columbus North tuned up for today’s Greensburg Sectional by winning the 10-team Shelbyville Invitational on Wednesday at Bear Chase.
Bryce Turner won medalist honors with a 73 to lead the Bull Dogs to a 306 team score. Mooresville finished second with a 333.
Spencer Fairbanks and Jared Imlay each shot 77 for North. Matt Vorndran added a 79, and Drew Smith had an 82.
