William “Bill” G. Menish died at home suddenly, of natural causes, May 30, 2016. He was born May 3, 1940, in Duluth, Minnesota, to William and June Menish. On Dec. 27, 1961, he married Elizabeth “Liz” Moore in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Bill’s life and passion was his family. His hobbies included boating and car collecting.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Menish; his son and daughter-in-law William G. Menish Jr. and Dorothy D. Menish; four grandchildren, Matthew Richard Mayer, Bryan Patrick Mayer, Kylie Elizabeth Menish and Madison Victoria Menish; sister, Nancy Watson; and niece, Lisa Laudel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter, Vicki Lynn Mayer.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Saints Francis & Clare Catholic Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, Indiana, with visitation at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
