• the local food pantry for handing out donated pet food.

• everyone on Caldwell Place for making our street beautiful.

• the local business owner who made repeated derogatory comments to a customer.

• the city that can afford to do traffic control and doesn’t.

• the newspaper for publishing the same stories about the same incidents all the time.

• the neighbor who sits on the porch and watches her cat climb all over a neighbor’s vehicle while talking on the phone.

• the apartment complex for not turning the air conditioning on in the laundry room when it’s 80 degrees outside.

• those who don’t realize the road in front of the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department is owned by the state and the city has nothing to do with re-striping it.

• those who hire incompetent spring sports coaches.

• the narrow-minded who refuse to see the great things President Barack Obama has done for this nation.

• those who think food pantries need to be grocery stores, ignoring that they operate with items that are donated.

• the newspaper for only printing negative articles.

• the office that doesn’t know what’s going on with people’s appointments.

• people who do not realize that protected and confined pets do occasionally escape.

• the singer at the Salute! program who failed to realize that the event is about veterans, not about her.

• the local newspaper and the singer for their ignorance.

• the individual slated to sing at a Memorial Day gathering who, because of self-proclaimed moral standards, was obviously unfit to fulfill such an honor.

• the singer who is entitled to her own opinion, but turned her back on the thousands who gave their lives to provide that freedom.

• the person who put her own beliefs in front of honoring our dead veterans.

• the people who have to learn the hard way that even if you boycott an event, life will go on without you.

• anyone who confuses conscientious objection with outright discrimination.
