Beckie Sue Petro, 50, of Willow Way, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Beckie was born March 8, 1966, in Columbus, the daughter of Francis E. “Gene” and Anna Mae Herbert Powers.
Family was the most important thing to Beckie; her children and grandchildren were her life. She also loved to go fishing, camping and watching her grandchildren play ball.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Pastor Rob Hurt officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Columbus Regional Hospital Cancer Center, through the funeral home.
Survivors include her parents, Francis E. “Gene” and Anna Mae Herbert Powers, both of Columbus; a son Joshua (Ginger) Music of Edinburgh; a daughter, Jolinda Powers of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Athena Isgrigg, Alexander and Aliea Decueber, Jayson, Jaxon and Gemma Music; a sister, Terri Lynn Powers of Columbus; a niece, Anna Williamson; and nephews, Calaeb Laine and Joshua King.
