Brittany Wilson

Columbus

Brittany Gail Wilson, of Columbus, left us on June 2, 2016.

She was born in 1991, and just celebrated her 25th birthday on May 20th. She was our special angel and fought her heart disease to the very end. She was loved by many and didn’t know a stranger. Her uncle said she was a “beautiful social butterfly.”

Brittany was very talented in many areas and had a great compassion for animals, rescuing many. She also had a big heart for caring about and helping others. Five years ago, she saved the life of a very dear friend, Logan, and touched the life of another true friend, Carla. That’s just who Brittany was and she has left an enormous void in all our lives. Her wonderful memory will carry us through.

Survivors are her parents, Gary and Debbie Davis and Ricky Wilson; two precious children, daughter Chloe Raelynn Hole Wilson of Louisville and a son, Norrin Chauncy Haight of Columbus; a brother, Jacob Wilson; aunts, Gena and Rita; uncles, John, Chad and Travis Davis; cousins, Dustin, Halee, Macy and Blake to name a few; and an amazing great‐grandmother, Pat “Nanny” Streeval.

A beautiful, private funeral service was conducted by Pastor Virgil Clotfelter at the Jewell‐Rittman Family Funeral Home. She was laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery on June 6, 2016. If you would like to make a memorial donation in Brittany’s memory, please do so to the American Heart Association. The family thanks you.

Pallbearers were John, Chad and Travis Davis, Dustin Petro, Jacob Wilson and Dale Bramhall. Honorary pallbearer was Ricky Wilson.

You are invited to light a virtual candle and leave a message for the family via the internet.
