Columbus police arrested a local man on four warrants after they observed him getting into a vehicle that stopped in the 1500 block of 13th Street.
Columbus police officers Kyle Young and Troy Love arrested Clifford D. Roberts, 33, 1112 Bernice St., about 4:40 p.m. Monday on warrants for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended, violation of probation for driving while suspended, failure to appear on an original charge of conversion and a Jackson County warrant, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
Roberts is being held without bond in the Bartholomew County Jail, jail officials said.
