FFY Boys & Girls Club — Library Organizer: Seeks a volunteer to help organize library utilizing a new cataloging system. If you are organized, responsible and motivated to see this project through to completion, this opportunity is for you. Hours: four to eight per week. Love Chapel: Needs volunteers to supervise residents staying at the Brighter Day Housing Facility. Staff will be accompanying volunteers. Hours: Variety of times around the clock in four-hour shifts. Information: Kathy Thompson at [email protected], 812-372-9421.

Clarity of South Central Indiana: Needs four or five volunteers to help pick weeds in front of the Columbus Pregnancy Center and the Administrative Office. Time: Three hours per month or as needed Monday through Friday. Information: Jane Littmann at [email protected], 812-378-4114.

American Red Cross: Needs volunteer client caseworkers to help get disaster victims back on their feet. Skills required: Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to be empathetic with clients, good writing skills and computer skills a plus. Our Hospice of South Central Indiana: Caring volunteers needed to provide companionship to patients and families, complete clerical tasks and at fundraising events.
