Christian-themed free Family Adventure Nights for youngsters who have completed grades kindergarten through five and their families are scheduled from 5 to 7:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Donner Park shelter house near 19th and Lafayette streets in Columbus.
Participants will share a meal together, play games, and have a time of music and stories along with small-group time. There will be a prize drawing each night as well as a take-away element to remember the night’s theme.
Organizers from First Christian Church, New Hope Christian, Garden City Church of Christ and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church recently canvassed homes in the area near Donner Park to publicize the event. Bible stories will be presented in an interactive format with hands-on, practical application.
