The IU School of Nursing (IUSON) team at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus has been recognized for demonstrated compliance to the structure and processes as outlined by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
In August, IUSON received site accreditation approval for the first academic sim center certified in Indiana by the Indiana State Board of Nursing and in November received SSH Provisional Accreditation site approval and was granted approval from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
