Ken and Nancy Chandler of Imperial Drive planned a visit to Shipshewana this weekend to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and also plan a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in July with their daughters and their families.
Mr. Chandler and the former Nancy Cooper were married June 12, 1966, at New Bethel Baptist Church in Wanamaker by the Rev. Frank O. Carlson.
Mr. Chandler retired from Cummins Inc. and is a self-employed CPA.
Mrs. Chandler is also retired from Cummins.

The couple have three daughters, Jan (Brian) Meek of Hope, Jeni Chandler of Columbus and Jackie (Derek) Toross of Harrison, New York. They also have eight grandchildren.
