Patricia “Trish” Burton, 48, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away June 9, 2016, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born December 27, 1967, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Charles “Sonny” Burton of Columbus and Linda Kay “Katy” (Weber) Gross of Edinburgh.
She is survived by her parents; a son, Charles Allen Denton of Edinburgh; two daughters, Miesha Jo Schofner of Edinburgh and Kiana Colglazier of Scottsburg, Indiana; two grandsons, Isiah M. Stitt and Colton Denton; a special nephew, Matthew Owens, and special niece, Brittany Owens; a brother, Allen Burton of Columbus; sisters, Lisa Burton of Hope, Indiana, and Denise (Jimmy) Owens of Edinburgh; and a companion, Jeff Bowker of Edinburgh.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber N. Stitt; a stepbrother, Allen Dale Gross; and a stepsister, Nora Marriage.
She enjoyed time with her family, was a Cincinnati Bengals fan, and she loved her dog, Bugzy.
Funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Larry Biddle, Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the Wesleyan Church, 308 N. Grant Street, Edinburgh, at 1:00 p.m. Calling will be at the church from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
