Patricia Ann “Pat” Lockard Vogt, 85, of Columbus, died at 7 a.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Born July 10, 1930, in Coshocton, Ohio, Pat was the daughter of Clarence William and Esther Hivnor Lockard. She married Ronald D. “Ron” Vogt Aug. 15, 1952 in Coshocton. He preceded her in death Feb. 27, 2010.

Pat was a 1947 graduate of Coshocton High School and attended Ohio State University. She was a member of North Christian Church and attended St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where she volunteered in the nursery. She was very active with her children and their activities in soccer, cycling, swimming and horseback riding. She had served as co-president of Donner Swim Club and enjoyed bird watching.

Pat is survived by her children, Dan (Diane) Vogt of Corona Del Mar, California, Jennifer Vogt of Columbus and Sarah Vogt of Cocoa Beach, Florida; her sister, Elaine (Duane) Paisley of Columbus, Ohio; and grandchildren, Anna and William of Columbus and Emma, Eric and Elle Armenteros of Cocoa Beach, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant brother.

In keeping with Pat’s wishes she was cremated and a celebration of life for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, at Hotel Indigo in Columbus, with special words around 6:30 p.m.
