Mary Rose (Matthews) Boldt, 80, of Franklin, passed away June 9, 2016. She was born April 8, 1936, in New Castle, Indiana.
Her memory and legacy carry on through her children, Kathy (Doug Middleton) Boldt, Stephanie (Greg) Phillips and Collette (Denny) Mee; grandchildren, Richard Matthew Payne, Derek Griffey, Aaron Griffey, Evan Phillips and Samuel Phillips; and great-granddaughter, Sophia Rose Payne.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Matthews; father and stepmother, Leonard and Effie Matthews; her husband, Ernest Theodore Boldt; a daughter, Julie Boldt; and brothers, Bennett and Heilman Matthews.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at Grace Lutheran Church, 3201 Central Ave., Columbus, IN 47203. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the service time Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions are suggested in Mary’s memory to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Grace Lutheran Church Foundation.
