Robert Jialuo Liu (刘嘉洛), 20, of Wyndham Place South, Columbus, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, in New York City, New York.

Robert was born September 18, 1995, in Kunming, China, the son of Benlin and Laura Luo Liu.

Robert was a very gifted, talented and social person who enjoyed spending time with and making new friends. His hobbies included snow skiing, ice skating, playing hockey, fishing, swimming, hiking, and many more. Robert loved to play music on the piano and saxophone, was an exceptional public speaker and enjoyed acting.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Community Church of Columbus, 3850 North Marr Road, Columbus, IN 47203, with the Pastor Chuck Coleman officiating. Calling/viewing will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Benlin and Laura Lou Liu of Columbus; a brother, Richard Jiacheng Liu of Columbus; as well as grandparents and many uncles, aunts and cousins in China.

Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
