Jerome “Jerry” H. Mize, 83, of Nashville, died Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores Mize of Nashville; three children, Thomas (Sue) Mize of Holland, Michigan, David Mize of Elizabethtown, Indiana, and Virginia (Randall) Achterhof of Spring Lake, Michigan; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Roberta “Jean” Mize.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, with Pastor Stan Loutner officiating. Burial will follow in Brown County Memorial Park with Military Honors performed by the Brown County Honor Guard. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
