Public meeting set for Riverfront Revitalization Project

The first community committee meeting for the Riverfront Revitalization Project will be held at 6 p.m. tonight at Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St.

The meeting, which will be held in conference room 3 on the second floor of City Hall, is open to all members of the public who are interested in learning more about the city’s plans to restore the riverfront along the East Fork White River.

The riverfront project is under the jurisdiction of the Columbus Redevelopment Commission, which is seeking ways to revitalize the land between the Second and Third streets bridges in downtown Columbus to make that land more accessible to the public. CORE Planning, Indianapolis, is working as the project manager.
