A vehicle has hit a pole at 16400 E County Road 400S, causing an outage of almost 300 REMC members in Elizabethtown, spokesman Marty Lasure said just before noon Saturday.
A broken pole can take up to three hours to fix, she said.
Nobody covers Columbus, Indiana and the surrounding areas like The Republic.
