Linda Faye Evans, 67, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away June 28, 2016, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
She was born July 28, 1948, in Franklin, Indiana, the daughter of Osbie Streeval Sr. and Mabel (Roller) Streeval Briddle. She married Thomas Pat Evans February 8, 1964.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Clarence William Evans of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Troy (Sonja) Evans of Columbus, Indiana; a daughter, Serena Faye (Jose) Salomon of Edinburgh, Indiana; brothers, Charles (Josie) Streeval of Edinburgh, Indiana, Timmy (Mickey) Streeval of Edinburgh, Jimmy (Monica) Streeval of Edinburgh and Kevin (Cindy) of Taylorsville, Indiana; sisters, Phyllis (Joe) Chandler of Edinburgh, Sharon Fultz of Edinburgh, Pamela Streeval of Edinburgh and Deborah (Larry) Sluder of Morristown, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas Pat Evans Jr.; brothers, Donald Streeval, Larry Streeval and Osbie Streeval Jr.; a sister, Nancy Burton; and one grandson.
She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Edinburgh and retired from David R. Webb Company where she worked as a cook.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and reading.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, by the Reverend Paul Burton at Assembly of God Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be at the church from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
