Sarah E. Martin of Peoria, Illinois, and Andrew J. Bach of Des Moines, Iowa, announce their engagement.
Ms. Martin is the daughter of Bill and Marilyn Martin of Chestnut Street and is a neuropathologist. She is a 2000 graduate of Columbus North High School, a 2004 graduate of Purdue University and a 2008 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine.
Mr. Bach, the son of Dan and Kim Bach of Ankeny, Iowa, is a secondary science teacher. He is a 2002 graduate of Ankeny High School, a 2007 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and a 2010 graduate of Drake University.
The wedding will be Aug. 6 in Brown County.
