NORTH VERNON — Jennings County Sheriff’s deputies serving a warrant on County Road 275E in Center Township arrested a North Vernon man on an out-of-county warrant and recovered a stolen John Deere Gator.
Bryan P. Goodpaster, 21, was leaving a detached garage on the property Sunday when deputies served an arrest warrant issued out of Ripley County, said deputy Bryan Katterhenry, sheriff’s department spokesman.
Deputies found the John Deere Gator on the property that had been reported stolen from Jefferson County, Katterhenry said.
Goodpaster was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property and the arrest warrant and is being held at the Jennings County Jail pending transfer to Ripley County, deputies said.
