Otter Creek Junior Championship crowns champions
Allen Hamilton of Louisville and Brooke Matthews of Rogers, Arkansas, won the boys and girls divisions of the Otter Creek Junior Championship.
Hamilton, who is headed to University of Kentucky, fired a 5-under-par 67 in Thursday’s final round to finish at 11-under 205 and win by one shot over Luis Miguel Castro of Sta. Rosa, Philippines. Center Grove’s Noah Gillard, who held the lead after the first and second rounds, shot 81 Thursday and fell into a tie for 18th at 217.
Matthews carded a final-round 71 to finish at even-par 216. The Arkansas recruit won by two shots over Jessica Lee of Oak Brook, Illinois, and Alexis Miestowski of Schererville.
