How to get cast in film ‘Columbus’

An independent film production company is expected to arrive in town in the next several days to begin finalizing sites and filming “Columbus,” an original story about two young people one summer discovering their purpose and future — and finding themselves amid the Midwestern mecca of design.

Shooting is expected to stretch from July 25 to Aug. 13 around as many as 14 key local sites, ranging from First Christian Church to The Republic, according to producers and the Columbus Area Visitors Center.
