Marty and Diane Brown of County Road 275E celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 9 with a reception hosted by their children.
Mr. Brown and the former Diane Burkett were married July 9, 1966, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fremont, Ohio, by Msgr. Carl Schieb.
Mr. Brown retired from The Republic and Mrs. Brown retired from Sandcrest Family Medicine.
The couple have five children, Christopher, deceased, Stephanie (Patrick) McKinney, Julie (Garrett) Lawson, Chip (Debbie) Brown and Gina (Matt) Stowers. They also have eight grandchildren.
