Stewart autograph session today at fair

Columbus native Tony Stewart, fresh off a fifth-place finish Saturday night at the Quaker State 400 at the Kentucky Speedway, will sign autographs today at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair.
Stewart’s appearance coincides with the UMRA King of the Three-Quarter Midget Racing Series, which opens with practice at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. in the grandstand.
Stewart, who planned to arrive at the fair about 6 p.m., said he would sign just about anything that would not conflict with one of his sponsors.
This is Stewart’s 18th and final season as a NASCAR Sprint Cup driver. The three-time Cup champion won his first race of the season June 26 at Sonoma, California. He is currently 30th in the NASCAR points standings, in a pursuit to qualify for one of 16 spots the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.
