Merrell and Sara Otte of North Vernon are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Otte and the former Sara Jo McDonald were married Easter Sunday, March 26, 1967, at Central Christian Church in Seymour.
Mr. Otte retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 34 years.
Mrs. Otte retired from National City Bank.

The couple have three children, Tammi (Jim) Reinbold of Freetown, Laura (Ken) Fries of Elmhurst, Illinois and James (Betsy Cornett) Otte. They also have three grandchildren.
