Raymond A. Thomas, 74, of Columbus, passed from this life Friday, July 8, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mr. Thomas retired from Dorel Juvenile Group.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Robert E. Lay officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to time of service Friday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Bartholomew County Humane Society.

Mr. Thomas was born November 3, 1941, in Madison. He was the son of Wesley E. and Lois Frances Bennett Thomas.
He married Barbara J. Bradley September 14, 1988.
Survivors include his wife; children, Shelly Bryant of Commiskey, Shannon Thomas of North Vernon and Sonny (Melissa) Thomas of Columbus; stepchildren, William (Angela) Smith of Edinburgh, Renay (Steve) Cannon of Columbus, Penny Leonard of Scipio and Daniel (Daphne) Smith of Edinburgh; sisters, Roxie (Gary) Rowlett of Madison, Linda McClure of Terre Haute, Kaye (Darrell) Douglas of North Vernon and Lily (Kalvin) Combs of Freetown; nine grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
