Steve “Von” Von Hoene, 56, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016, at his home.
He was born February 15, 1960, in Seymour, the son of Ralph and Barbara Jean (Newkirk) Von Hoene.
He married Christa Maria Blevins on June 14, 2007, in Brownstown, Indiana, and she survives.
Steve was baptized at The Tabernacle. He was co-owner of Von’s Pawn Shop in Columbus and enjoyed auctions, antiques and Harley-Davidsons. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Steve is survived by his wife; daughters, Cheyenne Von Hoene, April (Cody) Wolka and Ashley Von Hoene; grandchildren, Makenna, Cayden, Ahlois and Waylon; his brother, Randy (Teresa) Von Hoene; and his sister, Peg (Dave) Mellenbruch.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Voss Chapel in Seymour, with the Rev. Aaron Arrowwood officiating.
Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel from 3 p.m. until time of service Friday.
Memorial checks may be written to the donor’s charity of choice.
