Our Hospice raffle tickets go on sale

Raffle tickets, which are part of the fund-raising effort for this year’s Our Hospice of South Central Indiana concert featuring Peter Cetera, are now available.

Admission to the Cetera concert is free, but Our Hospice has a goal to raise more than $100,000 in net revenue from the sales of $10 raffle tickets for a chance to win $10,000. Our Hospice of South Central Indiana will also be selling a concert T-shirt, which will be available soon.

Cetera will perform at the Custer-Nugent Amphitheater at Mill Race Park on Sept. 3.

Funds raised through raffle ticket and T-shirt sales will help Our Hospice fulfill its mission, which includes:

Caring for more than 955 patients in 15 counties and providing support for their families

Partnering with more than 41 residential long-term care facilities, physicians and hospitals to provide special end-of-life care to patients

Providing almost $190,000 in uncompensated care and bereavement services and programs not covered by insurance

T-shirts and raffle tickets will also be available at the concert. The winner of the raffle will be drawn at the end of the concert and raffle ticket purchasers do not need to be present to win.

The Republic’s advertising graphic artists entered into a friendly competition to design the concert’s promotional posters and program book cover. The top five entries were presented to a committee made up of Our Hospice staff and leaders. The winning design was created by designer Cassie Doles.
