Robert C. “Bob” Oxley, 56, of Columbus, passed away at 2:08 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Bob was born Aug. 16, 1959, in South Charleston, West Virginia, to Leon Keith Terrell and Minnie Bell Garrett Oxley.
Bob had a passion for photography and enjoyed professional wrestling, vacationing in the Smokey Mountains and the companionship of his beloved pets.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, 2611 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus, Indiana, with the Rev. Larry Jackman officiating. Calling will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Elmwood Cemetery in Romney, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Bob is survived by his partner in life, Tom Baugh of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather and a sister.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Jewell‐Rittman Family Funeral Home.
