Anna Lee Turner, 90, of Elizabethtown, died at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at her home.
Anna Lee was born in Pineville, Kentucky, January 26, 1926, the daughter of Pete and Mattie Young Christophus. She married U.J. Turner in Pineville June 12, 1947. He preceded her in death March 23, 1992.
She was a member of Living Word Baptist Church in Seymour. She loved her children and grandchildren and also collecting Annalee dolls.
She is survived by children, Nancy Rittman of Elizabethtown, Mike (Leann) Turner of Taylorsville and Rick Turner of Shelbyville; brothers, Bobby (Betty) Christophus of Pineville and Charlie Christophus of Middlesboro, Kentucky; sister, Ruth Knuckles of Pineville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, U.J. Turner Jr. and Jeff Turner; and several siblings.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Pastor Robert Franklin officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery at Mineral Springs.
