Letter: A cappella group a delight in Columbus

From: Joyce Wire

Columbus

A big thank you is due to the people responsible for bringing the internationally known King’s Singers to Columbus for a concert last Saturday as part of St. Bartholomew’s Concert Series.

The group of six a cappella singers presented “Postcards from Round the World” to an enthusiastic audience of 500-plus music lovers. This group has performed all around the globe at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, the Teatro Real in Madrid and the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing. To have them come to Columbus was a phenomenal feat.

Thanks to Bogdan and Mirabella Minut, coordinators of the Concert Series Organizing Committee, as well as committee members Father Clem Davis, Jan and Roger Banister, Camilla Gehring, Donna and Mike Keogh, Shirley Kreutzjans, Judy Russell and Sheryl Tracey. Well done!
