Deputy
Michael James King, 70, of Deputy, died at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Johnson King; daughters, Michelle (Mike) Braden of Lexington, Wendy (Tony) Cole of Madison and Beth (Justin) Shoaff of Columbus; a stepson, Rick (Sue) Armand of Hanover; a stepdaughter, Tina (Kerry Robertson) Armand of Hope; a brother, John (Gena) King of Elizabethtown; a sister, Judy (Steve) McClure of Madison; half sisters, Toni (Jerry) Lee of Columbus and Lynn (Shawn) Foster of Osgood; four grandchildren; and a stepgrandson.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the donor’s choice of charities.
