Irving Richard “Nippy” and Carol Kay Schneider of Seymour celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their family at Redeemer Lutheran Church’s fellowship hall in Seymour.
Mr. Schneider and the former Carol Krienop were married July 23, 1966, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jonesville by the Rev. Richard E. Hasz.
Mr. Schneider is owner and operator of Schneider’s Wood Shop.
Mrs. Schneider is office manager at First Baptist Church in Seymour.
The couple have five children, David (Anne) Schneider of Kokomo, Mary Anne Schneider of Columbus, Melissa Alexander, Jeremy (Jama Naylor) Schneider and Rachel (Jay) Schepman, all of Seymour. They also have seven grandchildren.
