Bruce J. Eudy, 61, of Columbus, passed from this life at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Bruce was born Dec. 7, 1954, in Columbus, to Jesse D. and Cindy Thompson Eudy.
Bruce was a draftsman at Cummins Engine Company for many years.
Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family and was a sports enthusiast.
Survivors include his mother, Cindy Downs of Columbus; children, Mike (Casey) Eudy, Dustin Eudy and Nick (Alisha) Eudy all of Columbus and Jessie (James) Kimberlin of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Austin Hobbs, Jaxson and Jacelynn Kimberlin and Tyson Eudy; a sister, Azora Gater of Columbus; his companion, Pam Young of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father; grandson, Blayden; and a sister, Sheila Persinger.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
