Bartholomew County Remote Control Fliers will host the eighth annual Joe Grube Memorial War Bird Fly-in from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 13.
The event is free and will be conducted three miles east of Columbus on 25th Street on the reclaimed former landfill site.
Flying models of all sizes will be featured, and food will be available for purchase. Parking is free.
