Bill Huddleston, 70, of State Street, died at 11:17 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016, at his home.

Bill was born January 26, 1946, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the son of Harry and Bertha Fishburn Huddleston. He married Wanda Cardwell July 30, 1965.

Bill was an employee of Golden Castings for 38 years and enjoyed working on old cars and motorcycles. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was a “dad” to everyone.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Springer Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred at Home (Hospice) through the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda; son, Jeff (Rita) Huddleston of Elizabethtown; daughter, Rachael (Brian) Stevens of Columbus; brothers, Harry Huddleston of Columbus, Gene (Jean) Huddleston of North Vernon, Noah Huddleston of Columbus and Paul Douglas (Bridget) Huddleston of Azalia; sister, Edith Durham of Seymour; grandchildren, Ashley Huddleston, J.J. Huddleston, Lindsay Stevens, Alexia Stevens, Elizabeth Stevens and Cameron Stevens; and great-grandchildren, Sheena-Rae Huddleston, Brianna Orndorff and Savannah Bishop.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ann Piper and Dorothy Jesse.
