Susan K. Huey, 69, of Columbus, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care of Columbus.
Survivors include her children, Cathy (Chuck) Klasek of Norman, Oklahoma, Sharon (Keith) Persley of Hartsville, Patricia (Brent) Elliott of Nashville, Tennessee, Christina (Jason) Garrison of Evansville and Annie (Jeffrey) Engleking of Seymour; brothers, Anthony (Kathy) Compton of Elizabethtown, Terry Compton of Columbus, Billy (Paula) Compton of Columbus and Eddie (Joanne) Compton of Newalla, Oklahoma; a sister, Judy Mitz of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Brent Elliott officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Alzheimer’s Association.
