INDOT to close I-65 lanes periodically over the weekend

FRANKLIN — The Indiana Department of Transportation will close single lanes on Interstate 65 from State Road 44 to State Road 252 this weekend while its contractor completes “punch list” items before finalization of contracted work on the state’s $21 million repair and resurfacing project between Franklin and Edinburgh.

Beginning at 9 p.m. today through 6 a.m. Monday, Reith Riley crews will be working at various sites along the I-65 route. Single lane closures will be implemented as needed for brief periods of time. Weekend operations include spot paving, concrete patching and bridge rail repair.
