Columbus Regional Hospital received the Most Wired Innovator Award from “Hospitals & Health Network” magazine for its computer program designed to review patients’ medications to avoid adverse interactions and improve patient safety.

1991

One day of free service offered to launch new routes and a new promotion campaign drew 800 riders to the Columbus city bus system, almost doubling the regular ridership.

Paintings valued at $85,000 went up in flames as a fire believed to have been started by a burglar destroyed Brown County Art Guild gallery on the east edge of Nashville.
