Michael P. Thixton, 32, of North Vernon, died at 9:03 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
Survivors include his children, Shayla Thixton and Michael Thixton Jr. both of Georgia and Tyler Thixton of Columbus; his mother and step-father, Barbara and Gary McElroy of Columbus; his father, Philip M. Thixton of North Vernon and his grandmother, Alice Thixton Galbraith of Seymour.
A memorial service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Marvin Brown officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
