Eagles set school record

NASHVILLE — Brown County set a school record for the second time in as many nights in winning a tri match Tuesday at Salt Creek.

The Eagles fired a school-record 191 team score. Brownstown Central and Edgewood each shot 214.

Emma Bawinkel, who set an individual nine-hole school record with a 35 on Monday, won medalist honors Tuesday with a 1-over-par 37. Jessica Taylor carded a 46, Ashley Masteller added a 49, Kacee Kleindorfer and Lauren Burker each shot 59, Meghan Cassiday had 61 and Tori Akles finished with a 62.

Lancers top Spartans

FRANKLIN — Edinburgh posted a 202-211 win against Southwestern (Shelby) at Cypress Run.

Kenzie Hill won medalist honors with a 48 to lead the Lancers. Vanessa McManaway carded a 49, Savannah Kellams added a 55, Kierra Richards shot 56, Madison Giles had a 60 and Bethany Burton finished with a 65.
