China and Taiwan will be the host countries when the free annual Ethnic Expo international festival brings the world to Columbus’ doorstep Oct. 7 and 8 along First and Washington streets. The event, launched in 1984 to help the city celebrate its international community, draws thousands of people and features a wide array of ethnic cuisine, entertainment and an international bazaar of clothes, toys, handbags, hats and other items.
