Evelyn Anna Shepherd, 95, of Commiskey, died at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at the home of her daughter in North Vernon.
Survivors include her daughters, Ruby A. Brown of Hinton, Oklahoma, Madge (Charlie) Shell of North Vernon and Gena (Robert) Cassidy of Commiskey; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alvin Shepherd; sons, Alvin D. and Donald W. Shepherd; and a daughter, Anna M. Shoptaw.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, with calling from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Commiskey.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the donor’s choice of charities.
