Columbus police arrested five people at an apartment in the 700 block of Sycamore Street after receiving multiple complaints about suspicious activity there and a request to check on the welfare of one of the residents.
Columbus Police Department spokesman Lt. Matt Harris said just after midnight Saturday, police arrested:
- Brittnee B. Bryant, 24, 1327 Ninth St., on charges of visiting a common nuisance and a warrant for failure to appear on an initial charge of battery, being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $8,500 bond.
- Scott W. Bryant, 50, 1327 Ninth St., on charges of visiting a common nuisance, possession of a legend drug injection device and possession of paraphernalia, being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of$13,500 bond.
- Courtney P. Bullington, 26, 746 Sycamore St., on charges of visiting a common nuisance, possession of a legend drug injection device and possession of paraphernalia, being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of$13,500 bond.
- Yvette S. Bryant, 29, Greensburg, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug injection device, visiting a common nuisance, a warrant for failure to appear on an initial charge of conversion, unauthorized entry of motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of$18,850 bond.
- Charles T. Jeffers, 57, 746 Sycamore St., on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance, being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bond.
