A fundraising dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at American Legion Post No. 24, 2515 25th St. in Columbus.
Proceeds from the meal will go toward legion programs, which includes supporting local youth leadership.
The post has donated thousands of dollars in the past two years to local causes ranging from Our Hospice of South Central Indiana to Clarity of South Central Indiana, which helps residents with pregnancy-related issues.
The meal will consist of breaded tenderloin, baked beans and cole slaw for $7, according to organizers. Drinks will be available at the bar. Meal carryouts also are available. People also may call in orders.
