Man wanted for dealing meth turns himself in

One of two men wanted by police following a large drug sweep of people suspected of selling methamphetamine and heroin has turned himself in.

Joshua M. “Chirp” Parker, 24, 3038 Rosewood Lane, Columbus, surrendered Thursday at the Bartholomew County Jail. Parker was arrested on a warrant for dealing meth and remains in jail in lieu of $40,000 bond, according to a Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department news release.

The Bartholomew County Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team, with the help of four other police agencies, arrested 16 people in a warrant sweep of accused meth and heroin dealers. The arrests were announced Thursday.
