North Vernon
Terry Lee Taylor, 61, of North Vernon, died at 5:58 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Born Dec. 7, 1954, in Seymour, Mr. Taylor was the son of the late John O. and Alma E. Williams Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a 1974 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as the custodian for McDonald’s restaurant for the past 12 years and had previously worked for the former Burger Chef in North Vernon. Mr. Taylor was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in North Vernon. His enjoyments were watching University of Kentucky Basketball and Cincinnati Reds Baseball.
Survivors include his brother, Mike (Irene) Taylor of North Vernon; and sisters, Treca Beck of North Vernon and Vickie (Roland) Jackson of Dent, Minnesota.
A funeral service for Mr. Taylor will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
