Panthers down Cubs

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County remained unbeaten with a 5-1 Hoosier Hills Conference victory against Madison on Monday.

Naomi Beal two goals for the Panthers (3-0-2). Andrea Reitman, Sonya Miller and Lexi Brown all added one goal.

Baylee Byford, Katie Pappenheim and Brown had assists for Jennings, which outshot the Cubs 18-4. Mackenzie Byram recorded three saves.

Twisters blank Cougars

SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran had trouble finding the net in a 6-0 loss to Oldenburg Academy.

The Twisters outshot the Cougars (1-2) 32-11. Trinity’s Jacob Keith recorded eight saves, and Andrew Emily added four saves.
