Paris Crossing
Irene Simmons, 89, of Paris Crossing, died at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Premier Healthcare of North Vernon.
Survivors include her son, Mason (Pam) Simmons of North Vernon; daughters, Patricia (Larry) Dodson of Indianapolis and Diane (Peyton) Mullins of Columbus; brothers, Richard (Alta) Cart of Deputy and Ronie (Janice) Cart of Madison; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Simmons.
Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Coffee Creek Christian Church in Paris Crossing. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral and Cremation Services in North Vernon and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Burial will be at Coffee Creek Christian Church Cemetery in Paris Crossing.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Coffee Creek Christian Church Cemetery Fund or Our Hospice of Jennings County.
