North Vernon
Robert Ray Sedam, 85, of North Vernon, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Surviving with his wife, Phyllis Ann Mars Sedam, are sons, Garry Steven Sedam of North Vernon and Michael Ray (Janice) Sedam of Avon; daughters, Susan Lorraine (Dean) Jones of North Vernon and Jill Christine (Paul) Bell of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers, Bernard (Virginia) Sedam of North Vernon and Richard (Linda) Sedam of Madison; sisters, Marjorie Moore of Bloomington and Beverly (Joe) Lee of Butlerville; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Anthony Sweeney officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Dupont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, First Christian Church in North Vernon or the American Lung Association.
